Dear Church Family-
The Connections Team and Mission Committee are excited to tell you that there is another trip planned to serve at Rancho San Juan Bosco. This is an orphanage in Tecate, Mexico that we have taken on as a ministry partner. The trip is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 to Sunday, April 21. Cost is $40 per person. We will leave early on Saturday to avoid traffic and get down there with plenty of time to serve the staff and boys and come home sometime after lunch.
This time we will be doing a food ministry for them. When we were there last, the wife – Yolanda – was so thrilled to have us there cooking for the boys and staff. She does all the cooking for around 50 people every day and so enjoyed having some time off. As a group, we realized what a perfect fit this would be for us to help them in this area again and do more than that. There will be more information that comes out later about how you can help.
But if you want to go, you need a passport to get back into the USA. This is essential. So if you do not have one or if it is expired, please look into that soon as it can take some time. Let Alicia Glass know if you have any questions… alicia@fpcmonrovia.org .
